I also found that in spite Perseverance has two Mastcam-Z cameras, it does NOT shoot them in sync. It shoots, say, the L, then rotate a little, shoots the R, rotate a little, shoot the L, and so on.

As guessed, the file name contains the timestamp. It is probably timestamped at a lower level because this one is in sync for the two cameras.
